About this Solution
Plastics are converted into a concrete additive used for construction of buildings called RESIN8. Substitution of plastics in place of traditional aggregates improves the performance characteristics of concrete. It is lighter and improves insulation by upto 35% in non-structural concrete application. RESIN8 has othet applications such as in pavers, grouts, mortars, and hot-mix asphalt. Benefits include reducing waste landfill and an alternate to traditional concrete additive which is enhancing sustainability in the environment.
